Winter Solstice - an excellent day for an update on my life in Mexico!
December has been noticeably cooler here. The reason I noticed is that, although the daytime
temperatures are in the pleasant 80s, at night two blankets are needed for the relatively chilly 50s.
Now that the daily dose of sunlight will be getting longer, a warming trend is predicted for the weekend.
Construction is finished on Casa Guadalupe for a while, mainly because the budgeted funds have been spent.
Great timing, since there are only a few details left to complete.
So the noise is finished and it is now worth the effort to clean the layers of dust from everything and
find a proper place for the piles of stuff. Here are the latest images.
On the business front, I am waiting for my Tax ID document, which is required to open a
controlled bank account - the basis of a corporation here. As usual, things happen sloooowly here.
There are several large projects waiting in the wings with similar slowness challenges.
Who knows? Maybe the new year will bring the launch of real business transactions.
In the mean time I am focusing on a few sales of my excellent properties in
Pueblo SacBe and
Yum Kaax to keep the bills paid.
My health meter is now in the comfort zone. My animal friends in the jungle continue to provide plenty of entertainment. The appeal of the beach never seems to get old. Please plan ahead if you are thinking about visiting - the busy season is starting now. This means that flights and rooms are harder to find good deals on. All is well in paradise.
